Andreas Kemnade 3ae41f0abb device-{kobo,tolino}-*: enable drm for i.MX6 based ereaders
The near mainline kernel provides things in /dev/dri which can be used to
produce output on the screen. Of course these things are
quite dumb.
But the property is not named acceleration anymore.

Clayton Craft 0648d45d76 device/*: migrate device packages to new kernel cmdline config system
This migrates all device package to the new system, which is documented
here: https://docs.postmarketos.org/pmaports/main/kernel-cmdline.html.

It also replaces old initramfs params (PMOS_NOSPLASH and
PMOS_FORCE_PARTITION_RESIZE) from the cmdlines with their modern
equivalents, so we can finally get rid of those.

Luca Weiss 8624b297e6 device/*: Resolve deviceinfo errors highlighted by dint
A large scripted cleanup to fix the errors, each with the sed command
used.

**Renamed variables**

[Error!!!] deviceinfo_gpu_accelerated: gpu_accelerated was renamed to drm: More accurately describes its function; see pmaports#1481 for the reasoning.

Andreas Kemnade 725cd09e9d device-kobo/tolino: workaround GPT handling bug in pmbootstrap (MR 5977)
Bootloader needs to be at 0x400 for IMX6 devices. That is ignored by
pmbootstrap which places the GPT header there. Revert to msdos partition
table style to workaround that bug.

Andreas Kemnade 3531702772 device-kobo-clara: split out downstream build as unmaintained (MR 4550)
Near-mainline kernel is feature-complete since quite some time, so lets
use that as a default also to simplify boot process, since downstream kernel
depends on various blobs loaded into memory by the bootloader.
Get rid of quirks required in boot process for mainline kernels
also by using a near-mainline u-boot.
Prepare for handling rev b devices.
Keep Downstream kernel to be able to optimize/compare EPD operation

Andreas Kemnade 04208c6461 device/testing/device-{tolino,kobo}*: use common waveform extractor (MR 3099)
There is no need to duplicate things over and over again.
Also load the waveform in initramfs before loading display
modules. That is early enough to have a working display in
initramfs.
