Make use of the new multi-stage initramfs rather than the minimal
variant, and inform mkinitfs that the initramfs-extra archive should be
created to save space.

Enable GPU by removing all software rendering workarounds.
While at it also remove i3wm config, because it should be in ui package
if we want to make it default.
