- 0004-rk3399-light-pinebook-power-and-standby-leds.patch
  - LED support is already upstream. It's not as early as this patch,
but its preferable to align with mainline.
- 0005-support-SPI-flash-boot.patch

- 0006-implement-boot-menu.patch has four patches
  1. Disable CONFIG_SPLASH_SOURCE instead of patching the source.
  2. No compressed bmp logo in use. Unnecessary and labelled as a hack.
  3. Irrelevant as we don't enable CONFIG_CMD_BOOTMENU for this device.
  4. Kept patch "vidconsole-uclass: Implement ANSI_CURSOR_COLUMN".
- 0007-rockchip-boot-order.patch
  - Upstream as b212ad24a604b00b240add35516b7381965deb31, in v2021.10

  - Upstream in 6c041b35bf8966ef3d48fc439c1c07131431d2f5, in v2020.10

Drop a few cosmetic and UX improvements were dropped. These are not
strictly required for device support. For example, only the Esc or
Ctrl+C key would interrupt boot, rather than u-boot's "press any key".
Carrying these improvements puts a burden on maintenance and drifts us
further from upstream.

Rebasing all the way up to v2024.01 was mostly strightfoward, but
v2024.07 had some major conflicts. The conflicting patch was already a
hack, so the result is a hack too.

Also drop "Define a very-opinionated boot sequence". This enables the
truetype console (which no longer builds on ARM64) and relies of
features which have been completely re-written upstream.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera 51261ea7e0 linux-postmarketos-rockchip: fix pinebook-pro support
4a1612eb56 introduced a set of changes for this kernel to support the
pine64-pinenote. These changes broke boot on the PineBook Pro: after the
kernel and initfs are loaded and started, the screen blanks and remains
that way indefinitely.

From the set of changes made for the pine64-pinenote support, reverting
only CONFIG_GPIO_ROCKCHIP=y restores the pinebook-pro into a working
status.

I don't have the means to test on the pine64-pinenote, and would
appreciate feedback on this.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera 2588acdd23 device-pine64-pinebookpro: include rockchipdrm in initfs
Since 4a1612eb56, the rockchipdrm driver is built as a separate module.
The kernel loads it quite late in the start-up process, so early output
it lost, and plymouth doesn't even work.

Force inclusion of this module into the initfs. This is still
suboptional: the display is initialised earlier, but not as early as it
would be with CONFIG_DRM_ROCKCHIP=y. Regrettably, using this last
options has negative side-effects on the PineNote.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera 62fb055e5c readme: link to issues
The folks at GitLab like to hide and rename sections. Add a handy link
for newcomers who are not as well versed in the current iteration of
GitLab's UI / lingo.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera 6d1ef68afc */*: rely on abuild's systemd integration
abuild's default behaviour copies files from usr/lib/systemd into a the
$pkgname-split subpackage.

Several APKBUILD definitions do this manually, since they predate this
feature.

Remove the superfluous systemd() function in these cases.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera ec17f2118c qemu-*: enable PSI
PSI is necessary (but not sufficient) to run Waydroid on this device
target:

- linux-virt is built without binder and unusable for Waydroid.
- linux-stable is build with CONFIG_PSI_DEFAULT_DISABLED.
- linux-lts is build with CONFIG_PSI_DEFAULT_DISABLED.

The performance difference is negligible for this device; less that 1%.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera 7cb5f1d3e4 main/postmarketos-config-nftables: rely on upstream nftrules
Upstream is now shipping rules as individual subpackages for packages
which require them. Rely on these by linking to them instead of
duplicating them here.

Note that the upstream packages only ship rules, but do not enable them
by default. This patch retains this package's current behaviour and
still automatically enables rules.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera 06e52230e9 temp/arm-trusted-firmware: remove (MR 4191)
This package originally existed to carry local patches not included
upstream. That is not longer the case, and using the Alpine package
works fine.

Additionally, this package tends to lag behind; Alpine currently ships
2.8.6.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera 1edbf01dcb pine64-pinebookpro: use linux-firmware packages (MR 4112)
The `firmware-pine64-pinebookpro` predates the firmware for this device
being available upstream. It is now packaged in two separate packages:
linux-firmware-brcm and linux-firmware-rockchip.

Install those two linux-firmware packages and drop the custom one. This
drop a custom firmware package and also ensure that firmware is kept up to
date with the rest of linux-firmware-*.

The resulting installation includes all the previously included firmware
files and I've confirmed that both sound and wifi work fine (dmesg
indicates bluetooth is available too).

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera d595967928 pine64-pinebookpro: remove reload of udev rules (MR 4113)
This package no longer ships any udev rules, so this is no longer
necessary.

Hugo Osvaldo Barrera 4e056b2242 pine64-pinebookpro: drop unnecessary udev rule (MR 4113)
Previously, this extra rule was needed to grant regular users
permissions for the embedded display's backlight. It no longer seems to
be necessary; the presence of this rule is currently a no-op.

Someone else on IRC has tested removing the rule and also confirms this
new behaviour. I suspect this was fixed upstream in eudev.

The entries kept locally are now part of the upstream rules. We can rely
on those instead and avoid the duplication.
