A recent change in Alpine[1] changed how busybox handled module loading. Previously, if bb modprobe was called with a compressed module, it would send it to the kernel to decompress it. Now, bb modprobe just fails. Using full kmod/modprobe lets us avoid any of these busybox shenanigans. 1. https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/commit/79180dde2132c2af06346ec4386c8084c8edc1bf Signed-off-by: Clayton Craft <craftyguy@postmarketos.org> Part-of: <https://gitlab.postmarketos.org/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/merge_requests/9123>
