Ferass El Hafidi a98f12d9d7 main/postmarketos-base-ui-gnome: explicitely depend on polkit-elogind in main package 
Despite the name, this does pull the correct polkit on systemd, as the
systemd/polkit package provides polkit-elogind=9999$_pkgver-r$pkgrel,
which apk will pick, while on OpenRC apk will happily pick
polkit-elogind from alpine repos (pulling polkit that builds against
elogind)

I'm pretty sure it used to work before, some kernel upgrade most likely
broke it.

Ferass El Hafidi bdbb8009d1 linux-postmarketos-amlogic: temporarily disable etnaviv NPU 
It is causing Wayland to not work and eglinfo to segfault on boards that
have their NPU enabled in their devicetree (VIM3, LC Cottonwood).

Ideally we should figure out why that is, but for now let's just disable
it to buy us some time.

Ferass El Hafidi 5bbe347a01 u-boot-amlogic: upgrade to v2026.04, switch to gxlimg 
The reasoning behind switching to gxlimg for image creation is that the
official Amlogic tools are not only proprietary (which makes them
undesirable in the first place), but they are also x86_64-only, which
increases maintenance burden as hacks have to be implemented for them to
work on non-x86_64 systems. They are also not officially supported, are
buggy, and tend to depend on glibc.

gxlimg has been packaged in Alpine Linux for a very long while, and the
intention behind packaging in Alpine has always been that it will be
used for the u-boot package going forward.

The main disadvantage of gxlimg is that it does not yet support
compressing the u-boot binary in the FIP, but we don't use that feature
in the proprietary tools anyway.

Ferass El Hafidi 5285b12c5b systemd/postmarketos-base-systemd: only mount /tmp as tmpfs when RAM >2 GB 
On OpenRC we only mount /tmp as tmpfs when the RAM available is greater
than 2 GB. Do this on systemd too to match OpenRC's behavior for devices
with a small amount of RAM.

Ferass El Hafidi 6553360263 main/postmarketos-base: tmpfs configuration in /etc/conf.d 
Make use of a /etc/conf.d/tmpfs file to setup /tmp mounting, instead of
relying on deviceinfo_tmp_as_tmpfs_size. This matches what is currently
being done in systemd (where we also do tmp config at the init system
level).

Ferass El Hafidi 6a511250ba main/postmarketos-bootsplash: add plymouth.prefer-fbcon 
Plymouth added a new console viewer to replace fbcon, however it is
quite slow and needs another font in the initramfs (and we're already
kind of running out of space if we just keep adding more and more).
Switch to the old behavior of just using fbcon.

Ferass El Hafidi 17138bf2ed main/postmarketos-initramfs: vibrate on boot 
Vibrate on multiple stages:
* twice when forced to enter debug-shell
* 3 times on error
* once at the end of the initramfs to indicate that we're booting
  to the OS
This uses the beebzzr tool <https://scm.dersco.re/utils/beebzzr.git>.

It is meant to be useful to know if your phone is booting or having
issues, which is useful when legally or fully blind, or when the display
isn't working yet.

On devices without force-feedback support, this is a no-op.
It is worth noting that quite a few devices do not yet have some modules
required for haptics in initramfs. These will need to be fixed for
beebzzr to work.

Ferass El Hafidi f1d5764f16 main/postmarketos-initramfs: remove -v from losetup args 
It was removed in
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/utils/util-linux/util-linux.git/commit/sys-utils/losetup.c?id=7e27c815979986666f78696adcfd5d13eab5df36
as it apparently had no effect on anything. Now that it is removed, the
initramfs still trying to use it is making complain and do nothing,
which results in boot failure.

Ferass El Hafidi f13be0f6b7 main/postmarketos-bootsplash: revert to killing plymouth using an openrc service 
plymouth-openrc-plugin (and any other OpenRC plugins really) trigger a
bug in OpenRC that only happens on musl-based systems, which can result
in a hang if a service fails.

A PR has been submitted to OpenRC to fix this bug. While the PR is
waiting for review and merging, work around this by reverting to killing
the splash from an OpenRC service to at least no longer trigger this
bug. See pmaports#4536 for more context.

Ferass El Hafidi 37d5c5e228 main/postmarketos-ui-plasma-mobile: preinstall angelfish or firefox 
depending on arch

Angelfish is not available on armv7 nor riscv64 due to qt6-qtwebengine
getting disabled. However, it is still preferable to install a web
browser by default. Firefox however can still be used on those devices.
Add a new -web subpackage, which installs Firefox on armv7/riscv64, and
installs angelfish on others, so everyone gets to have a pre-installed
and working web browser.

Ferass El Hafidi 14a23d8a3e main/postmarketos-ui-plasma-mobile: move qtwebengine apps to extras_web 
A web browser engine not being available should not cause the whole UI
to become unavailable, especially when not required for the UI itself to
work. Move packages depending on qt6-qtwebengine to a separate
subpackage, that gets pulled only on arches where qtwebengine is
available.

Ferass El Hafidi ab2a716197 device-google-trogdor: add hid-generic module to initramfs 
Following a kernel upgrade, HID_GENERIC was changed from =y to =m,
however it was not included in the initramfs, causing the keyboard to
not respond and thus the FDE unlocking to be broken. Fix this by adding
it to the initramfs so the keyboard works again.

Ferass El Hafidi 88963a9c4f device-amlogic-tvbox: rename to device-amlogic-aarch64-tvbox 
This port is exclusively for AArch64 TV boxes.  Given that there is an
Amlogic TV box port for Meson8 (ARMv7) in the works, it doesn't make
sense for the AArch64 port to have that generic name anymore.  So rename
it to reflect which Amlogic SoCs are suitable for it.

Ferass El Hafidi feed256853 device-amlogic-tvbox: remove xiaomi-once port 
The DTS patches for it do not apply anymore, and exkc has said that
their device is now broken, so they are unable to continue maintaining
the port.

As a stop-gap solution, xiaomi-once users who still wish to use
postmarketOS can use the p212 port. They are also welcome to fix the
devicetree patches and upstream them.

Ferass El Hafidi 05d9b25643 amlogic: switch partition_type to msdos (MR 5883) 
After commit 8335d050bf24977afefee6612dd347abd555bc53 in pmbootstrap the
partition table now defaults to GPT instead of MBR.  This breaks booting
on Amlogic devices for the following reasons:

 * On set-top boxes: downstream U-Boot most likely does not have GPT
   support
 * On boards where we install mainline U-Boot as BL33 on eMMC/SD: the
   bootROM checks for an `@AML` image header at offset 512 (second LBA),
   which means we are basically stuck on MBR

Some Amlogic boards have U-Boot + the proprietary Amlogic firmware
stages in SPI flash (mainly the Libre Computer boards do), which means
they can use GPT, because the firmware is simply not stored on eMMC/SD.
For that reason I chose not to change the partition table on those.
